Woodoku online is a 10x10 game where you have to put blocks on the grid and create lines. When a full line is made, horizontally or vertically, you get points and the blocks disappear from the grid. This game is similar to Tetris, but in Woodoku you can choose different areas where you want to place the pieces.

How to play Woodoku

The gameplay is simple. You have to put pieces on the board and create lines to earn points. Make sure to put down the pieces strategically, because the next piece has to fit as well. There are 3 different versions you could pick while playing Woodoku.

Classic mode: In the Classic mode, you get 3 pieces that you have to put on the grid. All these pieces have to be placed. If you put 1 down, it is not replaced with another. So when you play 2 of the 3 pieces, and the last one does not fit, the game is over.

Timed mode: The timed version of Woodoku lets you battle against the clock. Every line you make gives you more time. You do not have to worry about the pieces. Every time you put down a piece, it is replaced with a new one. Can you fill up the time bar and win in this puzzle game?

Bomb mode: This adds the element of bombs randomly appearing on tiles on the board. When the bomb appears, a timer of 10 seconds goes off on that tile. You have to remove that tile off the grid by completing one of its lines before the bomb goes off, otherwise the game is over. Similar to the timed version, the tiles are being replaced.

Tips for Woodoku

This game can get stressful very fast. Try the classic version first before playing timed and bomb to learn the game. Focus on one side of the board. If you try to make lines on both sides, you will soon find that the bigger pieces won’t fit. It is important to leave enough room for the bigger pieces. As a last resort, you can use 2 power ups on the bottom right of your screen. The spade lets you remove one tile of choice off the board, and the replay button lets you redo your previous move. Use these power ups only when necessary, because you only have 3.
